The Lancashire Hill Friendship Club had their first trip out on Monday.  Over 20 local residents spent a relaxing few hours on a canal barge on the Macclesfield canal followed by a buffet lunch at the Ring O’Bells in Marple.

The group is aimed at older residents in the Lancashire Hill and surrounding area, but anyone is welcome.  The group is planning more activities so why not come along and get involved?  They meet every Monday at Lancashire Hill Community Centre, drop in between 10am and 12 noon.  If you would like more information then please contact Liz Madge on 0161 218 1351 or 07891 949236.

Here are some photos of the trip.
